RiverRidge is a 64 bed community in Kennebunk, Maine, that specializes
in stroke recovery and brain injury rehabilitation. RiverRidge supports an
active in-patient and out-patient rehabilitation program, residential care,
and a Stroke Recovery Program that serves people from all over New England.
We have volunteers of all ages, doing many different jobs throughout
RiverRidge. Some assist with structured activities, run church services,
men's group or call bingo, while others prefer to visit one-to-one with folks.
We have volunteers who help residents and patients write letters, and some
who enjoy a spirited game of cards. Others like to read to people. Regardless
of what you choose to do as a volunteer, we are sure that you will find yourself
enthusiastically anticipating your visits to RiverRidge.
