If you've finished with comprehensive in-patient medical services, but still have therapy goals to reach, you'll get the support you need in RiverRidge's Outpatient Neurorehabilitation Program. RiverRidge provides expert support, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech/language pathology and recreational therapy, on an outpatient basis to people recovering from acquired brain injuries and stroke.
All the therapists work together, integrating their action plans, to reinforce your rehabilitation goals. You'll work with your rehab team up to six hours per day, depending on your goals and stamina, with treatment professionals and consultants providing integrated team assistance.
There are two components of RiverRidge's Outpatient Neurorehabilitation Program: Skilled and Extended Services.
The Skilled component focuses on achieving your own established goals, and works with you while you're still actively regaining skills necessary for independence in home, community and work settings.
The Extended component is a long-term support service to help you maintain the rehabilitation level you've achieved. Each therapy plays a part in preserving gains and coaching adaptations to new situations you'll encounter as you re-enter your communities.
The Outpatient Neurorehabilitation Program at RiverRidge is designed to help you accomplish your goals and maintain your rehabilitation achievements, while supporting your life in the community.
At RiverRidge, you will:
- get the support you need to continue progressing towards your recovery goals
- learn adaptive skills important to your lifestyle
- receive focused attention from medical and therapy experts who work together to reinforce your rehabilitation across disciplines
- benefit from the specialized neurorehabilitation insights and experience of our professional therapy staff
